What We Do
Hearing Services
Our Primary Services
Hearing Aids
Although not always indicated, properly prescribed FDA-regulated prescriptive hearing aids are one of the most commonly prescribed treatments for hearing loss and can significantly enhance your hearing ability. True FDA-regulated prescriptive medical hearing devices must meet rigorous testing and standards before coming to the market and can only be fit by a licensed hearing provider. Dr. Moore will make sure that your device’s potential is thoroughly harnessed, providing you with maximal service, longevity and value.
Hearing Testing
Comprehensive hearing tests are critical to diagnosing hearing difficulties and isolating the underlying causes. At Moore Hearing Centers, Dr. Moore personally administers a comprehensive hearing evaluation, not a screening, for ages six to adult. We will provide a complete battery of tests following Best Practice guidelines, to ensure we leave no stone unturned. The battery of tests are needed to accurately gauge your hearing sensitivity and processing abilities, while providing us with the insight we need to give you the most effective treatment possible.
Tinnitus
Do you find that your concentration is interrupted by a persistent buzz in your ears that seems to be coming from nowhere? It can make it hard to concentrate and even harder to fall asleep and is more serious than you may suspect. This is tinnitus, a condition which affects nearly 50 million people in the United States alone. While sometimes tinnitus can leave as suddenly as it appears, 20 million people report symptoms so severe that it interrupts concentration and makes it hard to sleep. Meanwhile two million report tinnitus so bad it is described as debilitating. Unaddressed tinnitus can lead to sleep issues, problems with concentration, and chronic anxiety leading to hypertension and even heart attack or stroke.
Additional Services
Assistive Listening Devices (ALDS)
Assistive listening devices (ALDs) can be life-changing for people with hearing loss. These devices can help people with mild to moderate hearing loss hear more clearly and with enhanced sound quality. They can also be used to help those with severe hearing loss in situations where hearing aids can’t help. These devices work primarily by amplifying and clarifying sound, allowing people with hearing loss to hear better in noisy or crowded environments. Others use visual or tactile cues, such as flashing lights or vibrations, to keep users notified of critical proximate events.
ALDs range from simple personal amplifiers to sophisticated systems with various components. They can be used in the home, in the office, and even in places like churches and theaters. ALDs can also be used to make phone calls or watch TV, allowing people with hearing loss to keep up with their family and friends. With the right assistive listening device, people with hearing loss can hear better, communicate better, and stay connected with the ones they love while engaging in activities that might have been previously limited by hearing loss. These devices are truly vital for so many people, and they are a great way to ensure that those with hearing loss can keep up with the rest of the world around them. Although there is a wide variety of options to choose from, our audiologists will work with you to ensure you select the one that best suits your lifestyle needs and preferences.

Hearing is very personal and unique to each patient, and at Moore Hearing Centers, you will receive the best individualized care personalized to you. Unlike many of the hearing aid sales offices, “one size does not fit all”! Our Doctor of Audiology, Greg Moore, has over 34 years of experience doing what he is most passionate about: helping people hear their best. Dr. Moore takes the time and attention to detail, to provide an exceptional patient experience tailored to each patient. Individualized evaluation and treatment should follow Best Practice guidelines, as established internationally by the American Academy of Audiology (AAA) and American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
“Dr. Moore has made an enormous difference in quality of life for my aging mother in law who has progressive Alzheimer’s. She has been seeing him for several years. He is the only doctor we trust. We now just had our own hearing tests which were very thorough! I expect to get my own hearing aids soon. His customer service and support of hearing aids is unsurpassed. He treats patients with amazing humor, kindness & sensitivity. Front office staff (Wendy) is also professional & friendly. Highly recommend.”
